Overview of Digital Tour Pages

Updated over 2 weeks ago

What Are Tour Pages?

Tour Pages are professional, web-based versions of your itineraries. They’re designed to replace static PDFs and Word documents with modern, branded web pages that are easy to share and always up to date. Each package and departure offers three tour pages by default:

  • Guest Itinerary – designed for guests going on tour

  • Guide Itinerary – built for your tour leaders / tour guides

  • Sales Brochure – a public-facing page for potential clients or agents

What are the Benefits of Tour Pages?

Tour Pages save you time and improve the experience for guests, guides, and sales partners. They offer:

  • Real-time updates – Automatically reflect any changes to the itinerary

  • Mobile-friendly design – Easy to use on phones and tablets

  • Brand consistency – Styled with your logo and colours

  • Simple sharing – Send by email or copy a single link

Sharing Options: Email vs. Link

You can share Tour Pages in two ways:

1. Share by Email (recommended)

Fieldbook sends a unique URL to each recipient, so you can:

  • Control individual access

  • Track who has access

  • Remove access at any time

You can email Tour Pages to:

  • Booking Contacts – the person who made the booking

  • Passengers – guests with emails in the system

  • External Recipients – anyone you enter manually (e.g., agents or partners)

Want to preview the email? Add your own email as an external contact. A dedicated preview feature is coming soon.

To customise the email template used when sharing Tour Pages, go to Settings > Organisation > Template Type: Share a Document.

2. Share via Link

This creates a single shared URL that anyone can access. It’s quick and easy—but you can’t manage individual access once the link is shared.

Adding Tab, Actions & Contacts to a Tour Page

Tabs & Sections

  • To show or hide a tab, simply add or remove a section in the itinerary.

  • The order of your sections will match the order of the tabs on the page.

Primary Actions

Primary Actions are optional call-to-action buttons that appear at the top of the Tour Page. You can add up to two actions.

  • Use them for things like “Book Now”, “Waiver Form”

  • Each action links to a URL of your choice.

Primary Contacts

Primary Contacts are displayed on the Tour Page as the main point of contact for the trip. . You can add up to two contacts—these will appear on Guest and Guide Itineraries, but not on the Sales Brochure.

  • Contacts must be Users or Staff Members already added in Fieldbook.

  • You can upload a profile photo to help guides and guests recognise them easily.
